The Almagest

The Almagest lists all the cumulative donations Humanitarian Learning has made since Izzat pitched his idea in early 2025.

Here, we posts all our material contributions and voluntary activities benefiting the general good. An acceptable interpretation of the operative word "general good" is rule consequentialism, as summarized by the SEP.

We organize small events like online social calls and book review sessions among staff members to pile new contributions on top of our voluntary monetary donations. We utilize our wealth for the needy instead of using it to fundraise. We see combinations of community building and material donations as intertwining building blocks of the general good.

In addition to staff donations, we have an official subscribing-to-donating pairing system. It effectively doubles our humanitarian contributions. Starting 2027, each new subscriber will enjoy a boosted donation from us as gratitude. You can view your free anonymous impact in the Subscriber Pairing System listed under each month.

Thank you for supporting and encouraging us to continue our mission.
